Connected residence

Operational visibility across a layered estate.

Situation
Network, AV, automation, power and service information existed across several separate tools, making support slower than it needed to be.
Approach
Reconciled current devices and operational importance, then brought network monitoring, UPS status and controlled power recovery into one clear support view without replacing the authoritative systems.
Result
Faster diagnosis, clearer ownership and safer remote action, with fewer blind spots for ongoing support.

Marine systems

Mixed-generation electronics, carefully understood.

Situation
An established installation combined multiple generations of networked marine electronics, while discovery screens alone could not prove physical topology or completeness.
Approach
Built a careful apparent inventory across Garmin BlueNet, legacy Garmin Marine Network and NMEA 2000, separating observed facts from assumptions and identifying the evidence still needed.
Result
A sound basis for documentation, troubleshooting and future integration work—without overstating what had been verified.
